Drywall dust is not wiped away, it is taken out

Drywall dust behaves nothing like household dust. It is fine enough to hang in the air for hours after the trades leave, and it settles into every horizontal surface, every track and every vent in the building. Wiping it with a damp cloth turns it into a paste that dries as a film on glass and cabinet finish. It has to be vacuumed with the right filter first, top down, and only then wiped. Getting that order wrong is why a renovation can look hazy for months.

We run this in stages because that is how construction actually goes. A rough clean once the dust producing trades are done so the finish trades are not working in a haze. An interim clean before flooring or cabinetry lands. Then the final detail before the walkthrough, when everything gets touched: sticker residue off glass, paint specks off hardware, grout haze off tile, and the inside of every cabinet and drawer that will be inspected.

What the visit covers

• Top down vacuuming with filtration, ceilings and vents first
• Window and slider tracks cleared of drywall grit
• Sticker and label residue removed from glass and appliances
• Paint specks lifted from hardware, hinges and switch plates
• Grout haze removed from new tile
• Inside every new cabinet and drawer wiped out
• Light fixtures, fans and can lights cleaned
• AC vents and returns cleared before the system runs clean
• Trim, casings and door edges wiped by hand
• Final floor pass once every other surface is finished

Working alongside a punch list

If there is a punch list, send it. Cleaning and punch work fight each other when nobody sequences them, and the classic result is a finished clean followed by a painter who touches up three rooms. We would rather come after the touch ups and hit it once properly than clean the same room twice and bill you for both.
